We had a great time celebrating and over-indulging this weekend!
I am moving slooooooow this morning.
Friday we had cocktails on the porch before heading out for sushi date night.
The newest addition to the porch is this tray for the coffee table. I love oversized trays and this one is no exception.
I wanted to do something fun with my nails for St. Patrick’s Day but thought that an all green manicure would be ugly (I had done it a few years ago…. it was…..) so I did one green nail and turns out, just as ugly! My hands just look like a 7 year old ready for Easter now……
I made Funfetti Cupcakes and Double Chocolate Brownies with Cream Cheese Frosting Saturday morning.
Oh. My. Goodness do I love me some Cream Cheese Frosting.
I had to throw it in the trash Miranda-SATC style come Sunday night because I made myself sick off of them after dinner on Sunday!Â
My girlfriend had a party at her place –
complete with delicious jello shots and all –
before we went to the bar for the day! 
Sunday we ran a million errands and did some work around the house. The top of our driveway has this strange landscaped area that isn’t centered or symmetrical and drives us both crazy.
Kip ripped everything out and built a little stone wall around the area.
Then we put back the two boxelder bushes for now and are going to put something new into the middle section. We found a Magnolia bush at Pike that we loved and that will work for the constant sunlight, so that may be what ends up there! I’d love a hydrangea bush but we kill basically everything….. at least, I do….. sooooo we’ll see! But it looks better than it did!

Sounds like you had and fun St Patty’s Day! I love your little green nail. Your landscaping project was a huge upgrade! That would have driven me nuts too. I have a love hate relationship with yard work, luckily it’s too cold here from that right now.
