My favorite appetizers, especially during the summer, are the ones that are the easiest & fastest to make! This appetizer is one of my favorites because I have a love for onions that does not end. Your breath may not smell the best… but who the hell cares?
Nance Pants’ Cheese Ring
you will need:
1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup of mayo (the real stuff – no “light” business here)
1 cup of chopped pecans
jar of strawberry preserves
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup of mayo (the real stuff – no “light” business here)
1 cup of chopped pecans
jar of strawberry preserves
Toll-house Crackers
– Combine cheese, chopped onion, mayo, and pecans in bowl
-Lightly spray bunt pan with Pam and place mixture evenly around bunt pan
– Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
-Run knife along sides of bunt pan, flip out and onto plate
– fill center with strawberry preserves and serve with Toll-House Crackers
I promise you will love it – I bring it over to friends parties all the time and though it isn’t the prettiest or fanciest dish – it is SO good and cheesy!

This actually sounds really delicious! It might have to wait until AFTER my beach vacays though…
Also, would love your take on Hugh Hefner and Crystal whatsherface's wedding being called off (did I hear rumors that she left him for Dr. Phil's son???), and also, The Bachelorette last night. Go.
Had to follow up. I SO agree on The Bach last night. It's a good thing I wasn't playing the 'Bentley' drinking game because I wouldn't have been able to come to work today. It's crazy — she knew him for like two seconds! But to be fair, I'm sure she's really embarrassed now watching it all play out. Ames I really liked too. He seemed so robotic before but on his own, was much more relaxed.
I'm a big fan of easy recipes too–Friday I'm posting a baked mac-n-cheese recipe that I made last weekend and is literally one of the easiest recipes ever!
Looks delicious!!!
That looks amazing! Saving to my recipe files:)
p.s. just added you to my daily reads list on my blog, loving your blog:)
