Nothing strength training related, no weights, nada. It was probably that damn spin class that left me unable to walk for a week that started this… but whatever.
I can tell that the small bit of strength and muscle I ever gained is completely gone.
SO – I’m wanting to start slowly getting back into real workouts (LIKE SNOOKI!!), where I actually sweat instead of laughing my ass off at the television and checking instagram every five seconds.
I was reminded of Tracy Anderson, who I think is quite pretentious with her whole clique with skinny people and Gwyneth, but who I also think really does have the best workouts, when I saw her new RIDICULOUSLY PRICED meal plan service.
it’s $55 per day! WTF?!
No crap. I’d be looking like Gwyneth too if I had $55 a day to spend on food.
But, here are the things I have tried and have liked.

I am seriously obsessed with this. It is a prime example of why she fascinates me – how does holding your arms up for 8 minutes absolutely kill you? but it does. And her stuff really does make amazing arms.

Hahaha!! That is one of my favorite SNL moments! I always say that and wonder if people know why I'm saying it. I'm glad to know you know!!! Also, I have one of Tracy's DVD's and love it, but I scratched it somehow. That arm workout is a killer..but so great. She is a really good dancer and sometimes I wish I could record myself trying to reenact her moves. I have been eating healthier for a few weeks now (grilled chicken, salads and vegetables) and I actually lost weight…until I went on vacation where I gained it all back. Just don't go on vacation! haha Good luck!!!! xoxoox
You are killing me. I seriously do that every Sunday and then I make up a bajillion excuses to lay on my couch and watch TV. Or I muster up some energy to do a 10 minute arms workout and then lay back down. I'M THE LAZIEST. I almost want to just spend $55 a day on food until my bank account starts crying and I actually start dragging my butt to the gym..
Ha this is hilarious!! Why is it that we all decide to start our diets on Monday and literally but Wednesday, I'm like, eh, it's almost the week, right?! Totally checking out these videos and sites that you recommended. Thanks for the laughs!! 🙂
I usually say "These fries are GOOD" and then lead into the whole "Lay OFF ME I'M STARVING" bit non the less it is hilarious! I joined the biggest loser up at work and I have maintained my weight which I guess is fine but I would like to lose some. I am currently attempting to do the Jillian Michaels circuit workouts. They pretty much kick my ass. I think the hardest thing to remember is to eat healthy and small meals. Being from Texas it's safe to say I crave Mexican food on a daily basis. That and carbs. It's the worst and best.
I use Tone It Up and I LOVE IT!! I did a post abotu it on my blog yesterday. Their nutrition plan costs money but they post a workout schedule for you every week starting on Sunday on their blog. It tells you exactly what to do each day. I recommend it!

I am on a total health kick, for my health not vanity. I went gluten free, although that might not work for you. Beer is out of the question. I lost 5 lbs immediately. I watched the video "Sick, Fat, and nearly dead". I am now addicted to juicing my veggies. One mean green juice meal per day in addition to healthy meals. I have more energy and have actually lost too much weight, a total of 10 lbs. I am taking mat Pilates classes, and the 60 YO ladies kick my ass. I am going to check out that video.
Hahahaha I do the same thing- every Monday I'm either on a diet, working out every day, or getting my shit together and then by Wednesday it's usually all gone and I'm binge eating and feeling sorry for myself- so you're not alone! Here are the only 2 things that have ever worked for me: Running- a lot of running, like signing up for a half marathon and then forcing yourself to run every day- got me really skinny. The next thing which I think helped more with muscle tone and weight loss was Jillian Michaels 30 day shred- it's only about 20 mins long but totally kicks your but and was my best pre-wedding workout.
When I'm really working out I always do at least 2 days of weight training- I think weight training is key to keeping every tight.

OMG thank you for this!!!! So absolutely true. I just posted this/texted to a bunch of people who can relate. This is hilarious. I am going to totally try Tracy out. I have been doing those "weekday workouts" where there is a different set of things to do each day on Pinterest and really liked them.
