workout wednesday // wishlist wednesday
and if you are jumping into 2016 with healthier resolutions,
it can be much easier to get active in some adorable workout clothes – they are great motivation,
or you can treat yourself to some cute tanks or leggings after reaching your goals.
or you can treat yourself to some cute tanks or leggings after reaching your goals.
unfortunately I can no longer reward my healthy eating during the week and working out with constant beers and burgers on the weekends like I used to (damn it old lady metabolism setting in!)
so workout clothes are a great reward instead!

if you’re going to sweat, you might as well look good doing it.
some of my favorite workout brands below :
Zella, Lululemon, Old Navy Active, and Fabletics

:: ZELLA ::
my current favorite for workout apparel.
leave it to nordstrom – if they make it, I usually love it.

two outerwear options for the freezing cold temps setting in……
{ starlight jacket } on sale!
another piece I love and live in is the racerback tank. it’s so comfortable, flattering, and the fabric dries so quickly.
{ racerback tank } more colors here on sale and here
:: LULULEMON ::
yeah, yeah I know, I know it costs a damn fortune. I concur!
But I have had a pair of their pants for 6 years that have outlasted anything I own.
It’s worth it. It’s time to treat-yo-self, remember???
the pant that has lasted a lifetime…. I mean…. I probably should get a new pair, but I swear they still look great!
{ groove legging }
my other worth-the-money items of theirs are their hoodies and zippies.
{purple hoodie} // {striped hoodie} // {grey zipped}
:: OLD NAVY ::
I’ve found it’s best to order down a size, or your smaller size, for their activewear
old navy can’t be beat – amazing prices, constant sales every week, so many options and designs to choose from!
I mean, the point is to be sweaty and nasty in it, so a cute tank that also has a cheap as heck price tag (usually they start at $7) is always a winner.
my friend had signed up for Fabletics so I decided to give it a try.
my first outfit came and I just love it.
the leggings are super cute and comfortable, and the quality is as great as any of the other more expensive labels.
and I like that you can freeze your membership or cancel at any time – so no strings attached!
I got these leggings and long sleeved top
whats your favorite workout apparel?
I also really need some new sneakers and I think I’m finally going to go with Asics;
I have heard so many amazing things about them.

I love Asics!
Lulu is expensive, but they are the only shorts I can run long distance in without chafing. And I didn't have to wear 2 sports bras while I was preggers and nursing like I do with cheaper sports bras. So…. it's worth it I.M.O.
I'm on my second pair of asics and I LOVE them! They feel like I'm walking on a cloud. I wear them to boxing bootcamp and to run in. You will not regret it!
I agree with wtiger9 above. Lulu sports bras are incredible.
I've recently become obsessed with workout clothes! I really like Gap if you want to find deals and their workout clothing is actually very well made. I have also recently become a fan of Onzie, The Upside and Salt Gypsy. I actually love buying from Urban Outfitters. They always have unique options.
1) I LOVE your blog. You write how I think.
2) Love zella! I want to try Fabletics.. the commercials are getting to me.
3) I was fitted in Saucony sneakers for running/cardio and they're great. I never would've picked them because I didn't know much about them. But they work with my arches and all that. I wear Nike free TRs for other gym classes like bootcamp, zumba.. stuff where I'm not running/on the treadmill.
Such an inspiring read this one is. Love your posts. I recently bought workout clothes for women from the New Balance website
