Cheers to Friday!!!
This week flew by, which I feel like I haven’t been able to say in forever. I was so happy to have Friday come quickly!
After two weekends away (Chicago and Florida) the past two weekends, I am looking forward to a night in tonight! Tomorrow we are going to our friends Lake House for the night so we’ll likely be cozy and in sweats all day with a glass of wine in hand! It sounds heavenly.
I am in charge of lunch Saturday so Kip has requested a big batch of chili. I’ll probably make some cornbread to go with it too (are there other sides for chili? I feel like I need something else too?). And then I am going to bring some dessert and apps up with us as well!
I wanted to share an easy and UNDER $20 (score!) dress with you that I wore in Sanibel.
It’s from my favorite, Old Faithful 🙂 It is the perfect throw on and go dress and I know I will be living in it this Spring and Summer. The fabric is super, super soft too and it hits at the perfect length.
It’s still fully stocked in all sizes so snag it while you can!!
My purse is sold out, but I found an *identical* version for 1/3 of the price of mine – I am so mad that I didn’t find this one first! It’s my favorite bag for beach destinations.
// STRIPED DRESS – on sale for only $17! I’m wearing size S, runs TTS //
in stock in all sizes!
// IDENTICAL PURSE, for 1/3 of what mine was! (I’m jealous) // SANDALS // EARRINGS // NECKLACE //

I spent a good 6 hours searching for my car keys the past two days. Feel free to skip over this story if you aren’t interested in my sheer lunacy.
I have no idea how they ended up here, or how on earth I found them, but they were in the bottom of a tissue box that still had tissues IN IT.
We have one of those keyless entry doors and I am obsessed with it. You just enter the code and you’re in – it’s amazing to not have to carry keys (clearly…. because I LOSE THEM.)
Well, the door was sticking so I couldn’t get in the front door and had to go get the secret key and then go in through the side door. Of course, by this time I was about to pee my pants – you know how your body knows you’re home and suddenly you can no longer hold it, but if you were away from a restroom you could still have gone like an hour? WHY? But I digress…. so when I got in the door I sprinted to turn off the alarm and go to the bathroom. So the next morning I’m getting ready for work and my keys are NOWHERE to be found. I searched for a good 2 hours, with help from my husband, when I got home and they were nowhere! I kept retracing my steps but didn’t know what I would have done because I came in through a door I never go through!? But I knew they had to be outside the house if I dropped them, or sitting somewhere inside the house.
After a couple MORE HOURS of searching yesterday, I was basically just touching and digging through everything in sight, even if I knew I never touched it on Tuesday. I went through the trash and both full recycling bins 2 times. Woof. I was checking the freezer, the shower, anything!!! Because clearly I had lost my mind and had no idea where they could be. I picked up a tissue box to move everything off of a table to again try to make sure I wasn’t blind and I heard something in the box. I started shaking it furiously and heard something and heart racing I ripped all of the tissues out of the box and THERE THEY WERE.
What. The. Hell.
I must have thrown them on the table running to the bathroom (I seriously have the bladder of a 3 year old, don’t ask….) and they landed on the tissue box and then fell in??? It’s the only thing that makes sense!??
I truly have NO idea how I found them. I was going to have to get the car re-keyed today if I hadn’t found it yet! HALLELUJAH!!!! My prayers to St. Anthony and all of my powers of positive thinking paid off!
Oh….. and if you’re thinking “just use your spare” ….. yeahhhhh I haven’t seen that since we moved from Chicago….. so don’t ask!!! In my defense I packed up our entire three story condo by myself and not a single other thing was lost…. so….. whatever…..
K….. enough of my stupidity…….if you read that whole story, I apologize……

I’m going to do a post soon of my beauty favorite – which is kind of a joke because I am FARRRR from a “beauty” person, but I am great at taking my makeup off and doing a full PM routine everyday 6 days a week at least 5 days a week, SO that’s pretty good right??? But I have found a few products that I love so I’ll share!
My favorite nighttime serum after washing and using toner is this Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM. I found it for the best price on QVC (you get twice the size for 60% less than if you bought the 1 oz size!)
but they also have it on Nordstrom and a ton of other places for the 1 oz size.
It feels so great on your skin and I smear it all over my neck and chest too. Plus I feel like it’s a good price for product and how long it lasts.

:: FAVORITE FINDS ::
I need to get my hands on these bookends! Too cute!
Best striped sweater of the week (I want to say month…. but I don’t want to get ahead of myself.)
The sandals everyone loves – back and fully stocked!
Over the past two years, I have stocked up on these tanks in a ton of colors. I wear them constantly. Literally constantly! They are the perfect fit – slimming but still flowy enough to not cling anywhere! (runs slightly large, I wear an XS)
A modern take on a classic dress – I love all three colors.
These blush hoops are so adorable.
All the heart eyes for this Chanel-esque mini bag.
Perfect strapless jumpsuit for summer.
Chambray shorts with an elastic waist and adorable tassel ties?! The all summer long short of choice.
Two super cute summer bags for a steal : this has such a unique shape + this works on or off the beach.
I love my pink athletic shoes, but this pair would be so cute for athleisure and even cute with a tee shirt dress or jeans. (for my shoes, I went up 1/2 a size!)
also love this blush + tan combo!
A perfect wear now + wear later blouse.
Hellooooooo cutest dress ever.
If you’re looking for a great inexpensive maxi, this dress that I have in two colors from last year is back and I love it. (runs TTS)
Are these grandma sandals? Or a fashionable version of the Adidas sandals with tweed and pearls? I’m going with the latter….
A tie waist + a peek-a-boo back + under $50!
If you live somewhere warm, this would be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!
A favorite tee from the Nordstrom Sale last year that was always sold out is back fully stocked.
Never met a strapless romper I didn’t like.
I am very hooked on statement studs lately! Love this gold pair. (see Monday’s post for more gorgeous options!)
In case you feel like jumping on the dry brushing band wagon (anyone doing this?)
This wrap front shirt would be a great work-wear option.
A great printed swing dress for summer with sandals.
The perfect statement earrings to make any outfit in a gorgeous coral color.
This robe would make a great gift for anyone, especially a bride to be.

Have a great weekend!!!!
Did you buy the striped Old Navy dress in a petite or regular length? Would you remind us how tall you are and whether you feel like it fits true to size?
I did the regular size! It’s true to size I am 5’4 !
I love that striped dress! I have a similar one but I think I am going to grab it anyway because the cute and stripes area little different, not different enough for a man to notice but, you know. As for dry brushing, I have been doing it for years and am 35 san cellulite and I swear it’s because of dry brushing. I think I’ll write a post about it soon.

I am extremely jealous of the no cellulite – that alone will get me to try it out!!!
