This week for my Wellness post I figured I would share my favorite people to follow/read/listen to for all things Health and Wellness. It’s basically a ploy to tell you all about last week’s episode of The Skinny Confidential podcast because she did a round up of ALL of the products and favorite things that she always talks about, but I included some of my other favorite healthy inspiration accounts too 🙂
:: The Skinny Confidential ::
If you have been reading for a few months you have likely heard me discuss The Skinny Confidential Podcast in my wellness posts or in updates with new food things (i.e. GG Crackers) on my instagram stories.
I first came across her podcast last year when I was searching for Kelly Leveque interviews after getting her book Body Love. I have been pretty hooked on the podcast ever since. She gives great tips and tricks on beauty, skincare, fitness, wellness, you name it.
I almost didn’t write this post because I feel like that girl from Mean Girls that says :
But it’s true. Maybe the podcasts are brainwashing me? Whatever…. I like ’em!
I’m hooked on F Factor + GG Crackers to make GG Pizza’s, finally felt like I could go get my face shaved with a dermaplaning session, take better care of my skin, and even got this Timer Cube to use when sitting at the desk to blog. Yes…. a timer cube. I know… I have a phone timer…..but yeah…. I love it.
Her podcast last week was the perfect compilation of all of her favorite things – and she did a blog post on it too – so I wanted to let you all know that if you’ve been wondering if it’s worth a listen/a read,
this would be the perfect place to start!
As with most podcasts, not all the episodes may be up your alley,
but I have yet to not enjoy one focused on health and wellness.

If you aren’t interested in her amazing book, just search Kelly’s name in “Podcasts” to learn all about how she can keep you full and turn off all of your hunger hormones for hours on end. I owe my morning smoothie ritual all to her.
I never thought I could be a “smoothie for breakfast” person, but I not only love it, I also love how easy and quick it is. It makes weekday mornings so much easier!

:: F Factor Diet ::
She is the one for he credit for the GG Crackers. I learned about Tanya Zuckerbrot + The F Factor Diet through her appearance on a Skinny Confidential Podcast. They focus on Fiber over anything else to fill you up and to keep Net Carbs low.
They say “When you follow a diet rich in fiber you feel full after eating – so you’ll generally eat less throughout the day. Also, fiber swells in the stomach, absorbs and removes fat and calories, and boosts metabolism.” Plus, they are all for a glass of wine with dinner. What could get better than that?
I recommend listening to the podcast with her on The Skinny Confidential to get a better idea of what F Factor is all about!

:: Tone It Up ::
I first found the Tone It Up girls after they had their show on Bravo. They do lots of free workouts and have built a huge community on instagram. They publish a free weekly workout schedule which is great to follow if you don’t really know where to start.

:: Kayla Itsines ::
While I do not do the BBG workouts, I have considered them before – the transformations she posts on her instagram are crazy – but the workouts honestly look too intense for me; I’m very intimidated! Kayla posts quick little routines fairly frequently that you can do at home, like an ab sequence or something of that sort.

I love the Skinny Confidential!! She is so incredibly beautiful and a true bad ass boss B! Her podcasts are my favorite and her blog is one of my favorites too. Have you seen the photos of her wedding and the wedding advice she gives? It’s all one of a kind and really incredible. She’s such a boss.

I was on the fence about the time cube!! Better than the phone stopwatch????
I love it! I feel like it actually makes me sit at the desk and work versus the phone where I will walk away, start doing other things, check the time to see what I have left, etc. But clearly I just have no self control….I could just STAY SITTING AND WORK. so there’s that….
