I love a good under $100 dress!
This white eyelet number is perfect for summer. The V-Neck and high/low hemline is super flattering and it’s easy to dress up or down with flats + a jean jacket or heels and dressier accessories.
And with the neutral white color you can pair it with any other colors and style it so many ways.
The brand Clover and Sloane was new to me, so I shared a few other favorites below as well!
and please kindly ignore my chipped naked nails….. I have taken two whole months off from gel/no-chip manicures in an attempt to get my nails stronger (nope. still suck) and the polish just chips straight off.

more Clover & Sloane favorites, all at great prices!

I hope you all had a great weekend!
Friday we had date night since last weekend and this coming weekend Kip is out of town. We never watch movies and when we got home from dinner we watched The Intern on TV and I absolutely loved it. Such a cute movie.
The favorite cocktail in the household lately is Paloma’s. It’s a grapefruit soda with tequila and it’s DELISH.
Saturday was absolutely gorgeous. We spent some time at Lowe’s (where Kip always is on Saturday) trying to figure out a few home projects.
I loved these perennials! I had never seen anything like them before!
I usually just people watch because I have no green thumb whatsoever, and I leave the outdoor decisions mostly to Kipper.
I shared this particularly lovely panty sighting on instagram…..
For lunch we picked up smoked chicken from the Mexican market where we buy the Jarritos Grapefruit Soda.
Their chicken is so. damn. good.
In the afternoon we headed to the Dogwood Festival in Peidmont park with friends!
Since it felt like summertime I broke out my pom accessories with my sandals and earrings. I wear this dress constantly (Really though…..I wore the navy to dinner Friday night, and then the cream color on Saturday!)
It’s under $50 and such a great go-to dress and it comes in TONS of colors!

(I have some in XS and some in S. The fit isn’t as baggy with the XS but it is a little bit shorter when you size down!)
// SIMILAR TASSEL + POM SANDALS // SIMILAR EARRINGS and SIMILR EARRINGS, both under $20 //
Sunday I met my sister for lunch and a little shopping for our upcoming trip to Miami which was the perfect way to escape the rain. I even squeezed in an at home workout – I have been doing P.Volve workouts (get 30 days free with code TSC 30).
Sunday night I finally used my Tinkle razors for an at home dermaplane/face shave and loved it!
I’ll share a bit more about that tomorrow!
Have a great start to the week!!!
Look into powder-dip manicures. I used to do gel/no-chips and my nails were so weak. With the powder my nails are strong and healthy and they grow like crazy. Definitely a game changer.
Thanks so much Deb! I had been debating doing the powder so I should give that a try next week! Are there different types? I feel like here in Atlanta they call it “SNS” or something?!
SNS is a brand – there are a ton out there now. I think OPI and/or Essie has it too but my manicurist said she wasn’t a fan. I’m going today and I’ll check out the brands they use.
Thanks Deb!! Oh that makes sense that it is a brand – duh! Clearly I am not the nail expert. Can’t wait to try it!!
So I have to know where that delicious looking chicken came from! I know there are some markets on Burford Hwy but which do you frequent? I need to know the details.
I get SNS in Atlanta — I love it, gel never worked for me. My nails are super long and stronger than they were with gel – they still can be a bit weak once you take it off but they regain strength pretty easily. I’d definitely recommend for an upcoming vacation. My one tip is that they must soak the SNS off. I’ve had them do the foil wrap and that’s okay too but a couple of times a tech came at me and tried to pry them off and I about had a meltdown. An experience salon with SNS will know that they should soak off beautifully in about 10+ minutes. I have tried it at home but whatever magic solution they use at the nail salon just works better.
Haha yes so many on Buford HWy! This one is right by Druid Hills (like, across from Pink Pony strip club haha) with a big smoker in the front. It’s called Brexit I believe? Can’t miss it with the smoker! We get the jarritos there too.
So good to know about the nails – at my salon I have seen them use the motorized thing to take them off? Where it looks like a fake nail? Am I crazy? So they definitely should NOT be doing that I am guessing?
Is it Brito!?!! I always see that place and think I want to check it out and then I don’t….I need to try this Jarrito also.
So, they might motor off the top bit to take off the shine but then they should be soaked – the motor thing should not take it down to the nail.
