Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
I have the perfect summer tee to share with you today!
I shared a pic on my instagram stories and got lots of questions about it.
I got it in the basic white, but it comes in so many colors (and stripes!). The quality is really great and it is so soft and comfortable. It’s perfect to throw on with a pair of jeans or a pair of shorts. I feel like I need to grab it in another color or the stripes because it’s definitely a go-to tee.
My husband thinks this necklace is just horrible; he calls it my “flavor flav” necklace but I love it! It’s from a jewelry line called Zenzii and I love their lightweight, inexpensive pieces that make big statements! They have such great stuff! Make sure to check them out (and I know they usually sell at tons of boutiques if you don’t want to order online!)
// PEPLUM HEM TEE // runs slightly large, I’m wearing size XS
// JEANS – my favorite jeans // CLOVER EARRINGS , similar earrings //
// SUNGLASSES // SANDALS //
necklace is Zenzii – love their inexpensive jewelry – but I found it in blue

Friday I went to a friends house for girls dinner/the start of a new book club!
I wore one of my favorite go-to dresses, this black scalloped dress from TJ Maxx.
// MONOGRAMMED PINK CLUTCH // PINK SANDALS , run true to size //
We decided on Of Mess & Moxie for the book!
My friend had just been to Waco, Texas and did all things Magnolia + Fixer Upper so she cooked a meal from the Magnolia Table Cookbook.
IT WAS SO. DAMN. GOOD.
I’m going to get the recipe for the casserole because it was DELICIOUS!
I had suggested some more intellectually stimulating reads, but whatever…….
I’ve been perusing Lisa Rinna’s book and think it’ a lovely addition to my coffee table and cookbook collection. (and obviously flipped straight to the part that they mention on Real Housewives which she apparently calls “The Basket Technique”)
I posted this photo to my instagram and got a very nice surprise soon after.
I’d like to say that Lisa Rinna “liking” my photo was definitely the highlight of my weekend!
Saturday I went to a blogger barre class at the Druid Hills Barre3. It was, as always, an amazing workout with Lisa + Jasmine and I met a bunch of sweet girls! I’m so happy that I have incorporated their classes into my weekly routine!
Saturday night we walked down the street to grab drinks and a bite at Dixie Q. The quinoa bowl with pork was delicious, Kip loved his brisket, and the pork rinds were little bites of fatty love.
The majority of the weekend was spent outside on the porch. We had expected rain all weekend and instead had gorgeous days with perfectly cool nights (and then a HUGE storm Sunday night that we also got to enjoy from the porch!)
If you follow along on instagram you know that Kip had torched the backyard (he says our grass was all weeds and a hot mess……) So he torched and tilled and seeded it….I think…… I’m the worst……
He finished installing a sprinkler system all by himself – which honestly was the biggest project I’ve ever see him take on and I was amazed! The new grass is already coming in and looking green so fingers crossed it continues that way!
I ended the weekend watching the first 3 episodes of this season of RH of Potomac and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Seasons 1 and 2 are not on demand so I was a little disappointed to not be able to start from the beginning, but I’m sure somehow I’ll live and find other ways to spend my down time…….
I hope you all have a great start to the week!
