Happy Monday!

We had such a great weekend – hope yours was too!
Friday I was able to make it to a Sculpthouse StrengthSculpt class – they keep me sore ALL weekend long.Oh, and SculptHouse is doing first class free for all *men* the month of June! I forgot to mention that last week! I know my husband will 100% not be attending, but in case you know someone who would enjoy it!

Friday night we went to the Braves game with friends (for the 9th time I wrote Cubs and had to erase it and write Braves! I can’t believe my mind is still so Cubs focused but I love it!)
It POURED rain right before the game (I changed outfit plans from my white jeans and tank and into a navy shift dress instead just in case!) but luckily it was great weather for the rest of the night.
It was so fun to see the new (to me) stadium and the whole area around it, called The Battery, with tons of bars and restaurants.
My friends work tickets had a table and a waitress and everything which was so nice! The food was insanely good too – we were definitely spoiled for our first experience at The Battery!

No surprise, I changed into my favorite shift dress I own in 72 colors and wear constantly. It just ALWAYS seems to be the perfect thing to wear!!! ( I size down to XS since it’s a loose fit!)

Saturday we SHOCKINGLY had a big day of car shopping. We got up and hit the ground running. We looked at the Ford Edge and Ford Explorer. I think the Explorer is too big for me, and definitely bigger than I need, but I LOVE it. It looks just like a Range Rover too with their new style! I loved the way the Ford Edge drove, I just wish it was a teeny bit bigger/higher up like my VW Toureg.

I drove a Toyota Highlander – which is the perfect amount of “cute” and the ideal size – but I didn’t like the way it drove as much as the Ford Edge……
We went to a few other lots to peek but didn’t drive anything else. We will likely do one more test driving day or shopping day next weekend and then decide what to do.
I am leaning towards the Ford Edge, but I’d love to not have to get ANYTHING and keep my car and not have a car payment, but the problems and bills have gotten to be too much.

To make the car shopping a bit more bearable, we made a pit stop in between for lunch at Gus’s Chicken and popped in to a few of the stores in Chamblee.

How cute is this store?! I got so many questions on instagram about this one called Dutchman’s. They had the cutest things!

Saturday night we walked to Dixie Q for dinner. We tried to be healthier after the Braves dinner and fried chicken lunch (whoops) and they have great salads and bowls. I got the only bowl that I hadn’t tried, the Spicy Caesar Salad and added pork – it was delicious! I love their Quinoa Bowl and their Beet Salad, too!

Sunday I made it to a spin class, hung out with my family for a pool date, and did absolutely none of the things I was supposed to do to prepare for the week. Per usual!

OH. I did watch the two hour premiere of the Great British Baking Show, though, which I firmly think is a smart use of time. It’s one of the best shows ever. So….. there’s that…..

This comfy, breezy dress comes in white and a pretty royal blue. I love the embroidered cross back straps so much. I also love that it’s a great BBQ dress (plenty of room for food in there :D) .
A few things about the fit :
If you are wanting a fitted dress this is definitely not it! It’s very flowy below the bust.
Also, a bra would be difficult to wear because of the back of it but nothing shows through sans bra, even with the white!
