except for forgetting to take the trash and recycling down on the right day and everything……..
AND Today is National Doughnut Day – so how will you be celebrating?!
Free Krispy Kreme’s perhaps?!

I made homemade doughnuts once, but they certainly were nothing compared to a delicious glazed and hot Krispy Kreme.

This week had a big blunder.
More car trouble.
Two months ago was a new driving rack, a week ago was a flat tire, and this week, a whole new driving shaft.  What are a driving rack and driving shaft? I don’t know.  Don’t they sound like they would be the same thing and not cost thousands of dollars each to replace two months apart? YES. YES THEY DO.
Lord help me.  After the last big expense we were geared up to get a new car in the future but figured I at least didn’t have any big bills coming…… NOPE.
So much for trying to do something for our wedding anniversary this month!

I feel my blood pressure rising, so we’ll DIGRESS shall we?!

Plans for the weekend include possibly more pressure washing (yikes) and then staining our back deck….. it’s not the pressure washing or staining I’m dreading but the moving of all of our patio furniture and our HUGE sideboard inside and blocking our entire living room with giant pieces of furniture.  Ya know? But there’s no telling my husband what to do when it comes to his projects.

We started Evil Genius on Netflix and I also want to see the Being Serena docuseries on HBO.
I’ve heard great things about both!
I also just saw something about People Magazine having a podcast called Cover Up so I may start that this weekend too on my drives!
