I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Ours was such a great one and pretty jam packed!
I was lucky enough to be able to kick it off being pampered at Cherry Blow Dry Bar in Brookhaven with a blowout for the weekend.
Cherry Blow Dry Bar has three Atlanta locations, with the other two in Buckhead and Midtown.
I was greeted with a glass of champagne and got to choose from any style from a huge menu of options. I opted for the Beachy Keen waves – I knew I’d be able to make it last for a few days by touching it up with my curling wand at home. (My curling wand is on sale and never goes on sale! It is amazing and I love it)
The store is so adorable and I will definitely be back for future blowouts very, very soon!
The entire experience from start to finish was relaxing and it feels so nice to be pampered. It is perfect for a weekly blowout and especially if you have a wedding, shower, or any occasion coming up.
My curls have lasted all the way through til Monday!
They offer great prices for memberships and also for individual blowouts. You get a discounted first blowout as well! Thank you Cherry Blow Dry Bar for having me!
I also wanted to share this comfy maxi dress!!
This exact cut isn’t currently available, but there’s an almost identical one that comes in 7 colors, has thousands of amazing reviews, and is on sale for only $38!
My friend wore this exact dress to dinner last week and it is so cute and the perfect go-to summer maxi.

They had predicted tons of storms for the weekend, but luckily it only rained early Saturday morning (a crazy storm that woke us up!) and then late Sunday night. The rest of the weekend was gorgeous and much cooler than it had been thanks to the rain. It was a nice break from the insane heat!
We were lucky enough to go with friends to the Atlanta United game on Saturday! I had never been to the new stadium and never been to a United Soccer game so I was so excited. The game was so much fun and the stadium is absolutely amazing! We had club level passes with all free food and drink and it was such a special treat. We loved every minute!
I had absolutely NO idea that they water AstroTurf?! Blew my mind!
Sunday we met up for brunch with friends at Hobnob.
They have life music and it’s all open air so it’s the perfect brunch spot.
Their omelettes (and I’m not an omelette person usually) are amazing.
I didn’t make it to spin class on Sunday as I had hoped but watched the first two episodes of FloriBama shore while I worked out at home. It’s on Season 2, it is pure trash, and it is wonderful.
Sunday night I cooked dinner and we relaxed out of the porch.
Trader Joe’s has Gladiolas for $4.99 right now and I always get them anytime I see them.
(thank you instagram friends for telling me what they are called!)
They make such a statement!
Hope you all have a great start to the week!!!!
I’ve contemplated dvr-ing that Floribama shores, but honest – I just don’t know if i can do it lol
It’s pure trash. I mean, it’s Panama City Beach, so enough said. But somehow it grips me like I am back in high school seeing reality TV for the first time. No shame….
My sister and I have a sister weekend planned to Atlanta in early August for the Taylor Swift concert. We’re staying downtown – not far from the new stadium. We’ll be there Thurs – Sat (concert Fri night) – what recommendations do you have for fun kid-free dinner and drinks?! We’re planning to just uber wherever, but dont wanna go too far
Hi Anne! Oh gosh, I never have gone out to eat TOO close to the stadium, but Ponce City Market area wouldn’t be too far for you. It’s right on the beltline and has lots of options for dinner, plus they have a restaurant on the roof with a rooftop and views. Hotel Clermont just reopned with a new rooftop as well that would be fairly close. Everything in Atlanta is super spread out so a 15 min uber is actually super quick and short for us! The heart of Inman Park isn’t too far either and that has a bunch of great restaurants and bars you could walk along on North Highland Street (also on the Beltline).
Love those blue and white bell jars! Where are those from!? And did you re-do those outdoor light sconces? Looking for something super similar! Where are those from? Love!!
Thanks Kayln! The lamps were a homegoods find – I will see if I can find the jars I have tons of them and they light up and are battery operated.
Yes! Our sconces are from Home Depot! They had them at all of the stores here so they should be nationwide!!!
