I’m so excited to share one of my favorite dresses with you today!

I wanted to share a favorite summer dress.  I wore this on our trip to Chicago and it is SO comfortable and flattering.  Such a great piece for only $75!! It combines two of my favorite things at the moment : eyelet and tassels!  PLUS you can go braless if you so desire in this baby – one of my fav things ever 🙂 #itsthelittlethings

I wore my ginger jar earrings to pull it all together which are such a fun statement earring! The name of the earrings is “ultra light” but I think they are heavy! I ordered these little ear stickers off of Amazon and they are a huge help and a total game hanger.
This brown leather clutch (with removable cross body chain) is one of my constant go-to’s and it’s on sale for 45% of!

Kip’s tequila kick has transitioned into a love of Truly.
I think the blueberry is the best flavor of all and they don’t make a case of just blueberry.  So in a case on 12, there are only 3 blueberries. Hashtag first world problems…… but it upsets me greatly.

We watched Jurassic World when we got home on the porch, which we had never seen, and I surprisingly enjoyed it?!  Kip always watches the old ones when they are on and I just have zero interest.  But FX was doing a ‘Behind the Movie’ and it made it much more fun to see the little snippets of that at each commercial break.  I see the hot factor of Chris Pratt now for sure.
Also…. the Food Network Star reject was the host of the FX show so that was interesting?! (again… my wealth of useless knowledge and ability to ID people from shows and commercials continues to be my #1 useless skill.)

Saturday my instahusband took blog photos for me on the way to Lowe’s.  Always gotta do Lowe’s.  Always.

Saturday night my sister had a BBQ which was so fun!
I couldn’t get over these gorgeous hydrangea from Costco.
I need to get a Costco membership one of these days,
but I fear I will go insane in there! 

I made this insanely delicious and INSANELY EASY icebox cake! I’ll be sharing the recipe tomorrow!

As if I needed any additional excuse to make my almost daily Amazon purchases……
I have been debating getting a Kindle for so long and they have it 33% off for the one with the light.  The one without the light is marked down all the way to $49! 

I love reading out of actual books, but with traveling, it becomes such a pain to pack 1-3 hardcover books in my carry on.  When we were gone for 7 days doing our Chicago + Michigan trip I had 3 books, all hardcover, and I realized it may be time to make an investment!
Do any of you have a kindle?!  Is there a certain one you recommend!?

side note : did you hear that Prime is going up to $119 per year? Damn you Amazon! Because you know I’ll still be paying it!
But really…. Bless Amazon Prime.

It is SO SOFT and cozy and is the perfect length. And it’s only $32!
It was RULL hot outside shooting this, so the best pic I had was me taking my hair off of my sweaty neck because then I hopped right back into the air conditioned truck!
But come fall, this baby is going to be amazing!
