Happy Monday!
I have been without internet on my laptop for most of 4 days (TORTURE) so I’ve been unable to blog. My apologies. I about had a mental break Saturday when the only TV I could watch was basic channels and I can only scroll my phone for so long 🙂
ANYWAYS, I wanted to share my would-have-been baby shower dress from this weekend with all of you!
I shared this over on instagram over the weekend, but I had two options for what would have been my baby shower on Saturday. Obviously with bed rest there was no shower, but this dress is SO DARN cute and I loved it.
*Keep in mind these were never supposed to see the light of day, so my selfies and messy bedroom are really on point :D*
Pink Blush is a great source for maternity clothing and they have TONS of gorgeous shower options or options if you are doing maternity shoots or anything like that.
The only change I would have made to my striped maxi was having the pockets removed. Although I love pockets in a dress, you could see these and I felt like they added some bulk to my hips which is a HARD NO at any time but especially when pregnant with twins.
The dress runs true to size so I’d say order your pre-pregnancy size. (I always order two sizes of everything though and send back whatever doesn’t fit – use and abuse that free shipping and returns!)
// GREY STRIPES // NAVY STRIPES //
Oh! And these earrings are too cute!
I noticed that Marge on RJONJ was also wearing them during one of her Dinner from Hell scenes in Mexico (not the “your lips look like a monkey’s asshole” dinner but the “throwing red wine on Danielle” dinner!)
// POM EARRINGS // they come in a zillion colors, too!
My other option was this adorable Norma Kamali jumpsuit (non-maternity) (also in all sizes here) that I am looking forward to hopefully getting to wear sometime after the babies. It’s my second jumpsuit I’ve gotten from Norma Kamali .
The shirred waist with the V-Neck on this was super flattering and it had tons of stretch so it was able to work with the bump. (My other jumpsuit of hers was definitely not pregnancy friendly – I looked like a killer whale).
I’m wearing a size Small. I’d say without a bump you can size down one because of the stretch!
Alrighty! It took me about 9 hours to be able to upload the photos and hit publish on this because of the internet so I’m going to hit PUBLISH before it goes out AGAIN!
Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow and this week with more posts, but my phone is always working, so you can follow along on instagram for thrilling bed rest commentary on Bravo and Boredom!
The ladies have been happily content in my tummy and have been stable for over a week now, so we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully they’ll STAY happily content in there for a few more weeks! Thanks as always for your continued thoughts and prayers!
