Hi! Popping in for a mini post with two pregnancy/post-partum must haves that just arrived at my door.
Bras and Panties.
The things that excite me these days….. it’s just so sad.
I just posted a picture of these in my instagram stories and
am already getting a million questions so thought I’d link them up right away!!
I knew I needed to get some granny panties and nursing bras ASAP for my hospital bag now that I am not actually in the hospital. You’d think I would have this all prepared and be ready to go at any time since I basically have been told since 4 weeks ago to be ready to go at any time but UHhhmmmm NOPE. Denial is a strong drug. But now I have to have my hospital bag packed and in my car for all of my appointments every week, so I finally am getting it done.
I had seen this underwear recommended by a few bloggers on instagram and when I saw an ad for it a few days ago I finally clicked ADD TO CART!
When I snagged them they were on sale for 10 for $30, and they still are on super sale for 7 pairs for $29!
They are buttery soft. They are heaven. The only thing my tush will likely don for quite some time now.  I would say they run TTS…. my tush has expanded a bit in the past two weeks so perhaps I should have sized up depending on what may happen next, but oh well. No one’s looking at my ass these days anyway.
As for nursing bras, I ordered 3 from Nordstrom to try and am still waiting for them to arrive.
These are the three I ordered:
BUT. I decided Amazon is so great at everything else that I might as well look there and Prime some to my doorstep ASAP and they arrived today. I will likely not even try on the other bras I purchased and send them back! These are 3 for $29!!!Â
SO CHEAP!
They are so comfortable, they come with an extra expander for each bra in case you need more room, they come with little hooks if you want to turn it into a racerback bra, and extra pads if you need some more cushioning.
3 of them. For $29. WHAT?!
Also in this order was some of the Nipple Cream that has come highly recommended to keep your nips from falling off your bod and making you miserable AND some of those stunningly beautiful nursing pads to keep from leaking all over your clothes.
Wow….. the exciting things I have to look forward to. Wow.
I just threw in the towel on nursing after a year but had a variety of nursing bras and my favorite by far was the least expensive and similar to the ones you have. Next time I will only buy those. It looks like you are well prepared! Making a mental note about those underwear for next time!
I’m so glad to hear that your favorites were similar inexpensive bras! The cheaper the better 🙂
Congratulations on your little bundles of joy!! They are precious, and I hope your babes are able to leave the hospital soon! I was new to all of this just a few short months ago – my son just turned 6 months… boy does it go fast! I have bras similar to the ones you posted, and they’re great. I really love nursing tanks, too. They’re so easy to just throw on to wear during the day and to sleep in. Just add a cardigan if you’re cold, and you don’t have to worry about anything getting in the way while you’re nursing. I also love these reusable nursing pads by BabyBliss. I found them recently after getting somewhat concerned about the amount of waste I was creating with the ones you throw out. These are great because they don’t lie flat like a lot of them do which cause folds in the fabric and lumps under your bra – V uncomfortable and it looks ridiculous. Instead, these sort of contour to the shape of you, and they’re super inexpensive too! Here’s the link if you’re interested: https://amzn.to/2TEX289
Good luck to you as your journey as a new mother begins! It’s wild and wonderful and challenging and absolutely the best thing ever!
