I wanted to bake something for Easter but knew I wouldn’t have time because of the twins and barely keeping my eyeballs open, so I decided it was the perfect time to finally try out the Kardashian Lemon Cake. Remember that episode of KUWTK where Khloe finds out her moms famous cake comes from a box?
I figured a boxed cake with a few extra ingredients would be an easy thing for me to throw together.
Ironically, I had been watching Ina Garten’s new season of Barefoot Contessa as I whipped it up.
This cake is definitely *not* Ina Garten approved.
There is no “the finest quality lemons from the Amalfi Coast are preferred, but if you can’t get them from Positano, store bought is fine” here.
I can’t stop myself…. one more….
Oh, and this……..
oh sorry….. I digress….
But back to the Kardashian Lemon Cake Recipe!
I thought lemon was perfect for Easter and perfect for Spring.
If you love lemon, you’ll love this.
I actually think it’s better *not* completely fresh. Kip and I both thought it tasted better the next day after it had firmed up a bit? Does that make sense even? It was almost too moist and delicate when it was completely fresh?
