one of these days I am going to finish my rambling “life lately” or “coffee talk” posts,
but until then I had to share one of my favorite new tops for summer!
One of our best family friends lives on our street and had a party this weekend so I snuck out for an hour and basically just sat there drinking my Blueberry Truly people watching like a creeper while everyone swam in the pool.
I still remember when my sister came to visit us in Chicago after having her first baby and she was just so happy to be out of the house staring at people in the bar — it’s pretty much exactly how I felt.  Ha!
And then I of course made Kip take a picture at the front door before we walked back home since getting out of the house to take pictures of my outfits isn’t exactly happening these days.  He has temporarily retired as my “instagram husband”….. and couldn’t be happier about it.  He hated/hates taking pictures haha.
but I digress…..
I fell in love with this halter style top the second I saw it online.  And then one of those rare things happened where it’s even BETTER in person that it was online!
The halter neckline on this is so flattering and ties in a cute bow at the back of the neck.  I also love how the back in slightly longer than the front  and that this looks just as great tucked into shorts as it would with white jeans.  The coral color is just perfect for summertime!
