I’m sharing a few of the twins (and my) favorites today,
including a few new things the girls are enjoying since they are almost 6 months and much more active lately!
I swear… if there was a camera for you all to see me attempting to keep them entertained all day long you’d DIE.
I must look like a total idiot. But them seem to enjoy my tone deaf singing and I’ve gotten REAL good at rhyming and making up my own songs.Â

promise the girls are happier than they appear, haha!
Walmart has so many amazing baby necessities at such great prices.
They have everything you need from the newborn stage through toddler, with my favorites for feeding to now playing.
They also have free next day delivery on tons of items,
what every new mom or mom-to-be needs!
(I’m sure it’s no surprise that I don’t take the twins to the grocery store with me or on errands – I wait until I can sneak out when Kip is home otherwise it would take me FOREVER with them in tow! Hallelujah for free delivery!)
I narrowed down some of my favorites below.
:: EATING ::Â
It’s National Breastfeeding Month, and although I barely nursed the twins, I am still currently pumping and starting to wean as I near my 6 month stopping point (with many mixed emotions). If you’re nursing, make sure you get yourself a Hakaa. You can attach this to the other side while you nurse. For me, I use it more for clogged ducts. It is AMAZING for helping with clogged ducts if you put epsom salt and hot water in it and then attach it. It helps more than anything else to get rid of a clogged duct FAST. You can also can use if you’re out and away from your pump to relieve the pressure and drain the milk.
warning – you will see things you DONT WANNA SEE if you google hakaa and clogged ducts epsom salts. it will look a little…..phallic. and you can’t unsee it.
We are supplementing breast milk with formula before switching to full formula once my milk stash runs out and this Baby Brezza is the greatest thing to ever happen to ANY mom but especially a twin mom. With warming my milk, it is SO hard to figure out how long to warm the second bottle for because it’s never consistent, but with the Brezza, I have two perfect temperature bottles in a matter of seconds. And if you’re still doing middle of the night feedings, and especially middle of the night feedings for two, all I need to say is : GET. THE. BREZZA.
When we went to the lake with friends a few weeks ago I could plug this in to my husbands F-150 truck outlet and make perfect bottles in seconds while we were driving.
It’s such a game changer.Â
Hadley has reflux, so we have used Dr. Brown’s Bottles from the very beginning.
Yes, they have extra parts, but they make SUCH a difference. We love these bottles – the extra parts to wash are worth it.
:: SLEEPING ::Â
Hatch is a nightlight and sound machine that you can also use as an “okay to wake” once they are older. It’s amazing because you can control all of it from your phone, too.
The girls are now in Magic Merlin Suits (more to come on those next week)Â but they loved the SwaddleMe Swaddles and Halo Swaddles before they were able to flip over.
This one is simple, but VERY necessary in this house. Especially for Hadley.
These are the best pacifiers. It’s what they used in the NICU and the babies love them.
Something we don’t have is the Owlet Smart sock but I know people RAVE about them. Hadley was on an apnea monitor for 4 months, so we had her monitored 24 hours a day. After Collins was monitored for the month in the NICU the doctors assured us we didn’t need to get her a monitor as well, but I know for first time moms this gives SUCH piece of mind which is priceless (and also may give you more sleep, also priceless.)
:: CLEANING ::
BabyOrganics is the only brand we use for the bottle soap and hand sanitizer. I love it.
When the girls were in the NICU the only wipes they had were Water Wipes and they are AMAZING. I actually thought something was wrong with every wipe we used after we got home because nothing is as wet as the water wipes. We use other wipes now since we go through A LOT of wipes, but we always have Water Wipes on hand because they truly are the best.
This lightweight bath is perfect and easy AND only $17. It fits in the sink (versus on the counter which we had before and it made bath time so difficult) . Changing to this bath is the best thing that’s ever happened.
:: STROLLING ::
I love these snap and go strollers for the early days of doctors appointments. They make twin and singleton version. Especially if you’re a twin mom, they’re the best to get the babies in and out of the car and into the appointment easily.
:: PLAYING ::
The girls are getting more active and even though they still love their activity mat, they are rolling off of it and attempting to crawl. These rubber play mat tiles are perfect and lightweight and super comfortable for the babies to roll around on (they’re also very easy to clean up the never ending spit up from tummy time and I mayyyyy or may not use them as my workout mat in a pinch when I don’t feel like cleaning up the living room.
I’m really lucky that my sister and mom each had a Momaroo from when my sisters kids loved them, and these are perfect for soothing a fussy baby to sleep. (They also make a more compact baby swing for smaller spaces!)
One of their FAVORITE things is this Fisher Price bouncer that a friend got us. They love it!
They also love this sit-me-up seat. We have one baby sit in it and watch while the other gets their bath and then swap them.
I feel like the next thing they’re going to need is a jumper toy like this one. One more thing to take over our tiny house! Lord help me!
UPDATE: someone just sent me this one that collapses which is MUCH needed in this tiny house with two babies.
What are some of your baby favorites!!??

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post!
I am not trying to mom shame in ANY way but I just thought you should know the Merlin suits aren’t supposed to be used after they can roll over. It’s not always clear and I was just given mine by a friend so someone had to tell me. You’re doing great mama!
