Today I’m sharing my favorite (and *necessary for survival*) items
for the girls for the past few months!
It’s crazy how quickly things change with babies.
I “knew” that, but until you live it, you really don’t realize how fast it all happens.
Right when we’ve mastered one thing, they are done with it and onto the next!
Thank goodness for places like Walmart – a one-stop-shop for all things Baby. They truly have *everything* that the girls need from new toys to for them to play with and help them developmentally, all the gadgets to help me with bottles and baby food for two, and the necessities to keep them sleeping through the night!
Their Baby Department has everything you need for Holiday travel, gifts and stocking stuffers, or just getting through the day as a mom yourself!
Now that the girls are on the move and eating food,
we have some new necessities to get through each day!
(spoiler alert: a jumperoo is a must)
I’ve broken it down into categories for
feeding, sleeping, and playing!
:: FEEDING ::
Since weaning, this Baby Brezza Bottle maker is truly my lifesaver. Bless this machine.
I use the Earth’s Best Organic Formula and they have been great with it from the start.
I was anxious about introducing food, especially with having to feed 2, but luckily things have been going well!
Usually…. not always….. but ya know, better than my initial anxiety led me to believe it would go.
I have dropped the ball lately with homemade baby food but thank GAWD for jarred organic baby food. I use the Earth’s Best Organic jarred food for them and they love it.
If you are wanting to make your own food, or if you know someone who will be the type to want to make their own food, The Baby Brezza Food Maker would be the *best* gift.
When they have their baby food, I pop them into the Bumbo seats (one at a time because Hadley will try to steal Collins spoon and it’s such a mess) and put the Roll up Bibs on them and we’re good to go. These bibs rinse really well (and catch all of the food that they spit out or I spill) and the Bumbo’s wipe down easily when we’re done.
Next up we’ll be moving on to sippy cups and I’ve heard from friends that these cups with the weighted straws are amazing.
Oh, and I still love all things Babyganics – bottle wash, hand sanitizer, and especially the face + hand wipes for after they’re done eating! We buy these in BULK.
:: PLAY ::
(These “wood” foam playmat’s have been a lifesaver. We have them covering the *entire* living room practically)
This play table/entertainment table has been a hit for months and months and months. It transitions as they get older to a table.
The latest obsessions are the jumpers. And I mean *obsession*. We have a doorway bouncer and also a stand-alone Fisher Price jumperoo and they like to face each other and tandem jump. Truly….. get yo-self a jumper. They will love it.
We also recently got an activity walker thing for them to stroll around the house in. They are still figuring out how to navigate it but it’s hilarious to watch them in it.
Next up will be a standing walker for Hadley. She is already pulling herself up and standing while holding on to everything so I’m not sure when she’ll be able to walk with this but my guess is soon. (Ugh…. I’m totally the parent that is like “yayyy good job….. then internally thinks ughhhhh no no no no no no I’m not ready for this).
I am debating getting this F150 play walker (my husband has this truck and let’s just say he loves his car…. a lot). It would crack me up to see the girls in their own little F150. This transitions into 3 different toys as well.
Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?! They have a John Deere one too!
For playing on the go, we have one of these pop up play tents. I’m going to use it this week at my sisters house for Thanksgiving and for the beach over Christmas to keep them contained.
These stacking cups are meant for the bath but we stack them up on the playmat and they love to knock them over.
And this isn’t really a “toy” but they think it is – the Baby Banana Toothbrush. It’s just a little teething toy for them but it really helps with brushing their baby teeth and gets them prepped for when you brush they teeth as they as get older.
:: SLEEP ::
The girls are fully out of their sleep suits and now sleep in Sleep Sacks.
We have cotton and fleece and put them in the cotton for naps but the fleece for bedtime to keep them warmer and snugglier. It’s like a cozy little blanket for them until they are big enough to have a blanket in the car.
We still have the Hatch Sound machine on at all times, for every nap and every bedtime.
and use a portable sound machine for on the go!
These Soothie Paci’s are still all the rage for naps and bedtime
(I won’t even tell you how many are littered throughout Hadley’s crib.)
Thank you so much to Walmart for sponsoring this post,
and for keeping me sane with twins 🙂
All thoughts and opinion are my own!
