Most of my days are spent in workout wear…. or “loungewear” that isn’t sweatpants aka workout wear.
And while I am certainly not saying Lululemon is garbage…. I don’t need the Lululemon price for something I’m either sweating in or having food thrown on by the babies.
I came across the perfect workout tee when I was at Target recently.
I hadn’t bought any new workout tops since having the girls and my two favorite tanks I stretched out pretty severely when wearing them as long as humanly possible during my twin pregnancy.
I like stretchy, seamless tops the best. (When I look at the fabrics its modal + spandex? So maybe that’s the “technical” way of saying what I like best?)
You know what I mean…. the buttery soft tops that are easy to pull on and off, don’t hold onto sweat, are breathable, and just feel good while you are working out (or are lounging on the couch….. or having a child spit food out of their mouth onto you….)
I snagged two colors immediately – the grey and the navy. They have a gorgeous coral color online too that looks HEAVENLY.
They run true to size!
I saw online they have a long sleeved version as well.
I also love Zella and Z by Zella workout shirts.
This long sleeve perforated tee is the same yummy fabric I like and I have this in black.
I have several go-to leggings: Zella, ColorfulKoala, and 90 Degrees.
I talked about them more in depth in this post.
I love, love, love the Zella leggings. They work for workouts but also for lounging and the fabric is thick and sucks you in and aren’t see-through when you bend over. Their maternity are the best too.
The ColorfulKoala are like a silky fabric and have great stretch.
What are your favorite affordable workout wear brands!?
Love this topic and your recommendations! I somewhat consider myself a budget workout wardrobe officionado (bc lord knows I can’t swing Lulu’s or even Athleta’s prices😂).
I like RBX some (depending on the piece), and their end of season clearance sales are amaaazing. But my fave budget line is http://www.SenitaAthletics.com . It’s a company started by 2 stay-at-home moms who didn’t want to pay Lulu prices, but still wanted quality products. I love supporting their company and mission, and have really loved the products I’ve bought from them. Also, being wise mothers, they stick pockets on absolutely everything they can! Bottoms top out at $40 I think, and their tops are in the $20s. I especially love their “Lux” line—super silky smooth, high waisted, and good compression while still being comfortable. Check them out next time you’re in the market!
Can’t wait to look them up!!! Thanks so much for the rec!!!!
