Welp…. I survived another week of my husband being home with me 24/7….. which may be why I have drank Prosecco every night this week more than the stress of corona virus itself?! Ohhhhh I’m kidding. (no, no I’m not.)
:: SNS Nail Removal Tips ::
I’m down to 9 nails and I’m guessing by the end of the week I’ll be down to 5.
I have SNS (Dip) nails and on instagram you all let me know that nail polish remover will do NOTHING and I need straight acetone after heavily filing down the tops to get them off.
(My nails are paper thin naturally so this should be fun…..)
You can also google videos for DIY removal of Gel or SNS.
Here’s on on SNS.
Amazon has informed me that the Acetone and Nail file
will arrive sometime by the end of April so I’ll keep you posted.
And speaking of nails, I was watching the Kardashians this week and 2 thought:
1. There is NO WAY they are changing diapers with those nails.
Khloe’s Nails were a finger-length-long…. it was insane.
2. What on EARTH are their nails going to look like by the end of this?!
:: Instant Pot Eggs // Egg Salad Recipe ::
My instant pot is my new best friend.
I have done hard boiled eggs to make egg salad twice this week and it’s going to be my new easy go to.
I just google to find how to do things but the Hard Boiled Eggs were SO EASY TO PEEL. Which is why I never make hard boiled eggs. (6 eggs with 1 cup of water, 5 minutes high pressure, 5 minute pressure release, ice bath for 1 minute and peel.)
I’ve been using How Sweet Eats Egg Salad Recipe and loved it (it has pickle juice!)
The second time I made it I used a little bit less mayo and added more mustard and liked it even more. I finally have some greek yogurt on hand so am going to try using greek yogurt in place of some mayo (I have been eating my face off and am on my way to quarantine 15, so going to try to cut back a TEENY bit this coming week….. slash am already planning what baked goods I’m going to make this week….. so…. whatever.)
Instant Pot Chili
I made this SkinnyTaste Chili last week and am making it again tonight for dinner.
I always try a different recipe and Kip never seems nuts about any of them but surprisingly he really loved this one.
You can do it in the slow cooker if you don’t have an instant pot.
A few things I did differently:
I used twice the amount of tomato sauce
I used red kidney beans instead of black beans
I didn’t have beer so just used some water
:: My Corona::
This song is very catchy and the babies loved dancing to it this week.
:: Easter baskets ::
I got these cute little felt pom pom Easter Baskets for the girls and LOVE THEM!
I love even more that they fold flat for storage because the last thing I need added into our guest room (aka room filled to the brim with stuff currently) are two gigantic Easter Baskets.
