I know a lot of people are using this time at home for “wellness”.
My definition involves as much Prosecco as it does Planking.
My routine these days is workouts in the AM, carbs and cocktails in the PM.
Balance.
Not gonna lie… we’ve been fixing a drink more often than usual
with everything going on these days to unwind… whatever.
I did the “push up challenge” in my latest instagram (followed by prosecco, obviously) and today I’ve rounded up some health + wellness related posts in case you are trying to do some “good for you” things whilst staying sane in the confines of your home.
and I truly can’t believe I did the push-up challenge…. what’s next… TIK TOK!?Â
The Best Protein Pancakes (or waffles)
I ate these every day for years and years – including my pregnancy when I hated all of my usual foods. I also make them in the waffle maker which makes it a 5 minute zero effort meal.
This post also has some other favorite healthier eats.
Favorite Wellness + Workout Items
Celery Juice
I really wish I still had time to make my celery juice every morning, but…. I’m tired.
I LOVED it. Highly recommend.
My Favorite SupplementsÂ
(updating this soon… I’ve added more into my routine!)
Intermittent Fasting and Easy Healthy Eats
Dry BrushingÂ
I REALLY need to get back to this. When I wrote this post I was still “new” to it but in summary I have had those awful bumps on the back of my arms since I was 16. They COMPLETELY disappeared after a few weeks! My friend touched my arm last year and said “you have the softest arms” and it was one of the most shocking things anyone has ever said to me because I’m so used to crazy bumps and the opposite of smooth skin there.
It also helped with cellulite on my thighs big time.
Time to get back to it!
My Favorite SmoothieÂ
I love Kelly Leveque and her books so much!
This peanut butter smoothie is my favorite (I use spinach for the greens and nixed the greens powder – it tasted too bitter, but you don’t taste the spinach at all)
Peanut Butter Chocolate Blondies
Almond Butter CookiesÂ
my go-to – these are SO DAMN GOOD – add chocolate chips too if you like!
Gwyneth’s Almond Butter Cookies
these are not nearly as tasty as the above recipe (no butter, no sugar) BUT they are YUMMY if you are wanting a healthy, clean eating, detox dessert
