WELP. It’s August now, sooo here are some MORE shows I’ve watched recently.

:: Dirty John – Betty Broderick :: on USA
If you haven’t seen Dirty John (the 1st season, aired on Bravo, about the pathological liar John) you must be living under a rock and GET ON IT.  I listened to the podcast first then loved the show and now there is a whole new “season” but with a completely different true story about Betty Broderick.  It was AMAZING.  I want to watch the old made for TV movie now because it shows everything in an entirely different light.  And may also dive into the documentaries…. what else do I have going on?!

:: The Politician :: on Netflix
LOVED THIS SHOW.  Oh so much.

:: Indian Matchmaking :: on Netflix
I binged this over 3 days (I think it’s only 6 or 8 episodes) and really liked it.  I loved the first few episodes, but the last few weren’t quite as good.  (I just wasn’t as invested in the people as the first couple episodes, but still recommend it.)
One girl is so completely the opposite of self aware and is the most negative human being on the face of the earth and it is highly entertaining to watch her think that EVERYONE ELSE is the problem.  But overall everyone else is great.

:: Love on the Spectrum :: on Netflix
YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS IMMEDIATELY.
It is the happiest, sweetest show on TV.
We are finishing it tonight and my husband and I are both so sad that it’s only 5 episodes and we’re almost done.
I just smile at the television the entire time.  I’m in love with all of them but especially Michael.

:: David Foster The Documentary :: on Netflix
He is just the worst.  The worst.  But this was great – loved seeing/listening to the
music and also ya know, just seeing what an ASS he is.

:: Dead to Me :: on Netflix 
I did *not* like the second season the way I liked season one, but it was fine.

:: 90 Day Fiance :: on TLC 
I’ve been watching this since earlier this year but there are about 97 seasons and different variations on the show (The Other Way, Before the 90 Days, etc) so we are usually watching an episode of some variation before bed because it’s one of the only mutual shows my husband and I have.

:: Selling Sunset :: 
I watched Season 1 right when it came out, Season 2 right when it came out, and now Season 3 is coming out this weekend.  I may re-watch Season 1 again before I start it?! Debating?!  But you’ll love this if you like Million Dollar Listing on Bravo.

I’m sure there is more, I just can’t think of it?!

Now, for Coffee Talk : 

it’s less recapping and more snippets of commentary this week since I’m a little short on time.
hopefully less of my rambling, so probably for the best.

:: RHOBH :: 

I would like for ANY other former Housewife to grace my screen than Brandi Glanville.  I loathe her.  She is terrible.  Kyle saying “Brandi is a lot of things but she isn’t a liar.”

OH COME ON, KYLE.  PUH-lease.

I mean…. as Dorit said :

And I’ve said it earlier about this season, but I usually CANNOT STAND Dorit and at this point I am obsessed with her. I mean…. I think she’s my favorite BH Housewife.  How did this happen?! What has 2020 done to me!?
Her strapless bedazzled dress for Kyle’s party?! even the gigantic boobies looked amazing!  Pearls on the forehead for a casual look in Rome?! HERE FOR IT.
And my response to her being fluent in Italian and speaking in it all the time is the opposite of Kyle’s annoyance.  THAT’S WHAT YOU SHOULD DO KYLE.  If you know the language fluently, YOU SPEAK ITALIAN TO ITALIANS.
can you tell Kyle is making me nuts this season?! 

Speaking of obnoxious Americans, WHY do Americans go to Rome to order margaritas and eat cheeseburgers? I can’t.

Don’t get me started on the boy in the boat commentary again….

But I was LIVING for Erika’s Hat and all neutral ensemble in Rome.  It was incredible.  And her lack of ability to move her head made it that much better.

OK.  So the bomb is finally dropped to Denise about what Brandi says (well…. after Teddi makes it all “uhhhh I heard you said I live in my dad’s shadow…….”  Oh COME ON, Teddi.  NO ONE CARES.  Ugh…. Teddi…..

Denise attempts to use the secret code to cease filming which will OF COURSE not work.  The breaking of the 4th wall makes this season 10x better and they sure as hell ain’t gonna cut the footage just because you look at the cameras and say “Bravo Bravo effing Bravo.”

I don’t know who to believe – and when I polled all of you on instagram you were almost 50/50 split too – but either way.  Who cares.  It’s just a matter of Brandi being an ASS and leaking personal information publicly that matters.

I hope Brandi gets sued like crazy for it, but I’m sure she won’t.  Denise has too much other stuff going on…. like legal battles with her maniac ex, haunted spirits in their ancient burial ground Malibu house, and aliens chasing her and her husband or NASA or the government or wires or cancer or SOMETHING WIERD that Aaron said.
Ugh Aaron….. at least we didn’t have to see him this week…..

Methinks Denise leaves the Italy trip early….. we’ll see.

OH. Also, the week before, I LOVED Garcelle so rudely asking Sutton about where her money came from.  Hilarious.  Also love Ms. Society Manners Sutton constantly being the rudest human on the planet week after week, but whatever……

:: RHONY :: 

Gah, these women. They’re so terrible…. and so entertaining.
Speaking of “manners” when being the rudest most terrible person ever: RAMONA.
I know she’s terrible every season but I feel like this season she’s really taking it up a notch.
This “63rd birthday party with 50 of her closest friends” is the tackiest thing I have ever seen in my entire life.  WHAT was that ‘Ramona’s living room” decor?! AND THEN – after getting the party for free from the Jersey party planner who does the RHONJ girls parties (but it makes SENSE to be tacky there, of course) she tells 60+ year old women what to wear so that she stands out and THEN to bring $100 to buy her a bag.  I CANNOT.  

(this is almost as bad as…. cough…. throwing a huge televised party for yourself for a “one year anniversary”  and making everyone buy their own drinks at a cash bar…..but we’ll get to that…..) 

Ramona threatens to quit the show and has a sh*t-fit over Leah (and I agree with Dorinda, it’s probably more because she was dressed the best in the room and has her youth….)

I will say, it would be fine if Ramona was bothered by her pulling her dress up at her party.  Whatever, fine.  It’s your party you can be bothered by it.  But I mean….. you think  Leah was the problem at the party??? ……

Bless Sonja…. the gift that ALWAYS keeps on giving.
Listening to Sonja and Ramona talk about LEAH after Sonja’s antics is mind boggling.

THEN Ramona decides to out Leah’s mental health struggles on national TV without batting a twitchy,blinky eye.
I can’t with this woman.
THEN the ladies head to Mexico.  I love the NY ladies on vacation more than ANYONE.

Ramona of course greets the staff by calling them “servants” and then treats them like condescending crap.
Behavior we see from every vacation with her.

Ramona is so offended by Leah presumably mixing pills and alcohol, but not Sonja-rita who is out of her mind from “one rosè mixed with coca-cola”  butt naked in the house before dinner while one of the poor staff does her hair.
SERIOUSLY, THESE POOR PEOPLE.
I truly hope Bravo has to pay them a zillion dollars in tips for putting up with these morons.

:: RHOP :: 

Ok so….. Gizelle is back with her ex…. the father of their 3 children… and their children are VERY upset by it.  This seems odd.  It really seems like they think he is awful (in terms of a partner) and for your kids to be upset about your parents being together couldn’t be a bigger red flag for how terrible this man must be.

wait, wait, wait : Monique’s 9 month old is potty trained? She’s been potty training since he was 4 months old? Ummmmm do we believe this?! Is this for real?!  And the bird is potty trained and on a leash?! What is going on?!

Candice.  Cash Bar Candice.  Girl – I can’t afford to throw a lavish party somewhere, let alone one with a $22K food and beverage budget either, but here’s what ya do: Throw a damn party at your house and PROVIDE food and beverage.  To throw some huge event and then not even give people a drink ……. I CAN’T.  I CANNOT.
Or, here’s a wild thought, don’t throw a party for your one year anniversary.  That’s not a thing.

La Grand Dame is back in ANOTHER new house and I just love whenever Karen graces my screen.  Her taking the mic at the anniversary party to rip into her husband when she is supposed to give marital wisdom is just Karen in a nutshell.

:: SHAH’S REUNION :: 

I had completely forgotten about Shah’s to be honest.  I wonder why they took so long to film this reunion after the season had ended?! They had already done other Zoom reunions (Atlanta, etc) long after this show ended so why the wait?
To be honest it’s just painful to see the MJ and Reza stuff.
And after what he yelled at her at the house party I don’t think I can ever like him again.  No matter who is to blame with the Ari Whatever-His-Last-Name-Is stuff….. I think Reza’s stuff is just unforgivable.

:: BELOW DECK MED ::

Let’s just call it like it is : Hannah is the reason for Kiko’s demise.  He didn’t know what “Vegas Food” was and instead of saying things like Steak dinner with truffle mac and delicious sides, or Seafood towers, or fancy Italian she said “Nachos.”  I can’t.  Like….. before bed and when they’re gambling give them platters of fried food and nachos, not FOR DINNER.  Ugh.  Poor Kiko…. he’s been my favorite Chef they’ve ever had on!!!

I hope they bring him back to try again if they do another season of Below Deck Med.

:: BIG BROTHER ::

Starts TONIGHT! And I am SO excited.
This is truly one of the best shows ever and is on 3 nights a week during summertime.
It’s All Stars which gives me hope it’ll be even that more amazing.
If you’ve never watched, there’s no time like now to jump in.  It is truly the best.
