I had this post planned for last Friday, then never published it.
It’s a bunch of random nothingness…. like the good ‘ole blogging days, so why not.

a few random things from last week ……

:: adulting ::

You know how I proclaim (especially in January) I am going to get my life together and clean and organize on a regular basis? Well there’s nothing like the cleaning lady coming for the first time in 6 weeks to light a fire under your ass.
Every time I do this to myself I think “if you just cleaned normally, you wouldn’t have to do this.”
I would still have to spend COPIOUS time stashing all of the girls things
(aka moving everything of theirs out onto our screened in porch and then moving it all back in – slides, bounce houses, A WHOLE DAY CARE CENTER, ya know how it goes)
But really…. why can’t I just scrub the shower every once in awhile instead of realizing the night before when taking a shower “We are so gross, she can’t see this, I need to clean this so she can actually clean it.”

Did you watch the OC Reunion Part I?!
Because DAYUM. It was so good. No need to watch any of the show whatsoever – OC has always been the worst and I fully support the correct decision to not watch it, but do yourself a favor and watch the reunion.
I absolutely, positively 100000% CANNOT with Braunwyn.

I really hope she’s done with the show. (aka the show is done with her)

Speaking of Reunions, the more I see of Jen Shah on my TV (RH of Salt Lake City) the more excited I am for THAT reunion because out of any Housewife ever cast she has the most insane temper and shortest fuse I’ve ever seen.

It is going to be such a good reunion.
(My-boyfriend-Andy-Cohen said it was the longest reunion they’ve EVER filmed)

:: Madison // Kristin Cavallari // Jay ::

Wow. The drama that unfolded over the weekend with Madison versus Kristin Cavallari was a WONDERFUL way to pass the time.
In case you somehow missed all of it, check out Best of Bravo’s SC Highlight on instagram.
Madison is truly the walking stereotype of the gorgeous girl who is batsh*t crazy. The finale of Southern Charm with her attacking Austen in the treehouse when they were *broken up*. She is nuts (annnnd I love to watch it).

The only thrilling part of the weekend was getting sushi for take out. I hadn’t had sushi in months (maybe a year?? or almost??) nor had we done a “date night at home” so at least it was something new.
(I shared a video of the girls “date night” on my instagram post as well)

I asked you all for Nighstand rec’s on instagram (thank you for all of your tips!)
and I’ve decided to just get something affordable and call it a day.
We can only fit 20″ wide on either side of our King bed, I don’t want to spend a fortune, blah de blah, but I rounded up tons of nightstands affordable finds since so many of you said you were looking and will share them in a post later tonight.
These were my ideal affordable choices but both are wider than 20 inches… womp womp.
