The girls recently turned two and I rounded up some things that they keep going back to over and over again.
Because if you are anything like me there are BINS and BINS of CRAP all over the house and they literally never touch it.
Before I begin let me just say the best toys are FREE or HAZARDS : anything they aren’t allowed to be touching or something like opening the Amazon Prime box or Grocery Delivery Bags.
….. so good thing our house has a bounce house, slide, and more inside….. #SOS
but if you, too want your home to look like a daycare that hasn’t been picked up in a week – I’M YOUR GIRL!!
Every affordable table and chairs I found was very modern looking which really just ain’t my jam. Cute and I would take it, but I wanted something that blended in with the house a little more and when I found this one I knew it was perfect. A spot for each of them plus a spot for me or two friends. It has wainscoting-style paneling that matches what we already have under the kitchen counter, wipes clean even with 7,000 markers all over it (I use Branch Basics – my fav nontoxic cleaner) and is light and easy for me to move around the house but still is sturdy.
The book caddy is a gift for ME but they also love it. Perfect way to corral all of their books in their small shared bedroom and they like picking through it to pick out their daily reads.
I can only take them on walks in the SmarTrike’s when there’s someone to push the other twin, but they LOVE going on walks in these and is their “preferred mode of transportation.”
The Bouncy Unicorns have been a HUGE HIT; the girls ride them all over the house.
They sell them in all kinds of animals/colors and from different brands on Amazon.
The bounce house is the gift that keeps on giving. My friend let us borrow hers after Christmas – she somehow found this Bounce House on sale for $50 – and the girls were so obsessed we bought a similar inexpensive one.

The Pottery Barn Chairs have been a huge hit for over a year – definitely used multiple times a day, every day.
The girls got the Little Baby Bum slide/bus as a gift when they were one – which they were way too young for. But they quickly learned how to climb and slide and it’s been something they still play with over a year later.
With the warm weather back, we will be pulling back out the Water Table and the Doggy Pool that collapses/folds away for storage and perfectly fits the little ladies.
ps we got the water table at Costco for around $50 I think…. so make sure to google search for some better water tables because I know last summer places were selling them for an absurd amount!
