a few things I’ve been loving lately :
Optimal Daily Living Podcast || This is not a new podcast – it has over 5,000 episodes. I started listening to it a few weeks ago and now listen to it at least once every day. I just scroll to a random spot (since they have so many episodes) and look for a title that interests me and I can always find one I want to listen to within the 5 that are visible on my screen.
I play it every day now when I make lunch and when I shower for a quick 10 minute boost.
The episodes are all less than 10 minutes and the host reads an excerpt from blog posts that cover a range of topics related to :
There is also an Optimal FINANCE / HEALTH/ RELATIONSHIPS / ADVICE / STARR UP Daily if that is more your speed!
Loose Knit Sweater Top || I love a sleeveless sweater top to transition through spring and summer. The quality is great in person and I can’t wait to wear it.
This would look so cute with jeans or shorts and also as a cover-up top to take you from the pool/beach to lunch etc if you are on vacation!
Tan Luxe Drops for Face + Body || I’ve been talking about this the past few days on instagram because they are on UBER sale. I’ve heard people rave about them for forever but I never wanted to stray from my beloved St. Tropez Express Foam and now I am kicking myself because this is SO much easier and gives such a great glow.
I had no issue with my face which was the what I was most scared of because I have never applied self tanner at home on my face and now I’m wondering why I waited so long!
I had a couple of little marks on my inner wrist from The Body but I purposely applied it really half-assed to see just how much I could get away with so I was still blown away! If I did that with my other tanner it would have been far, far worse.
This combo retails for $160 but you can get it for $43 on HSN right now. {I did Medium/Dark.}
SuperSmile Toothpaste || I have never believed that whitening toothpastes worked – or if they “did work” they worked the same way any toothpaste does – just physically removing surface stains. I recieved samples of this in this $18 QVC beauty box when I was getting the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder and figured I might as well try it. I WAS SHOCKED. I never take the time to whiten my teeth with strips so this is SUCH an easy fix.
The toothpaste is INSANELY EXPENSIVE if you buy it full price, which I think is because you barely use any at all and it lasts a long time, but QVC has tons of deals on all different sizes. The best bang the buck was this two pack of two bottles (you have to use the toothpaste with the accelerator on a DRY Toothbrush) and this honestly will last me way way wayyyy too long because the bottles are huge. I wish they sold it just as a single pack but it was way cheaper than buying the trial size options again.
It works *so well* but I recommend trying the trial size in that kit if you are unsure if it’s for you but want to give it a try! It even whitens restorations which I didn’t necessarily believe until I read reviews on multiple sites from people saying it did.
I also think that it is pregnancy/nursing safe because it is clean beauty? But as always – don’t listen to me – listen to your doctor.
AND – I still brush with my Sonicare ( I want water on my brush with toothpaste like usual) and Crest, and then I do this later in the morning and then right before bed. (Yes I brush my teeth 4 x per day….. I would recommend it to anyone… and while you’re at it GET A TONGUE SCRAPER AND FLOSS!)
Cheers Restore Pills || I’ve used these before but it’s rare these days I am able to even attempt having several cocktails. #twins and #p@ndemic. When I drove to Florida a few weekends ago and was sans-kids for the first time I had many a cocktail (and it was glorious) and these COMPLETELY did the trick (and it was glorious). SO worth it if you ask me. The one night that I had cockails and mixed drinks (which I normally only drink my Costco Prosecco at home) I took 4 pills (it says 2-4 and I’ve never taken 4 before) and I seriously was worried what would happen since I don’t drink liquor often at all anymore, and it worked like a charm.
$15 Polarized Sunglasses || I have my favorite pair of sunnies in several pairs from Amazon, but I have such sensitive eyes that on really sunny days I wanted something polarized. Problem was I couldn’t find the shape/style I love in a polarized option (and for CHEAP). I came across these and they are almost identical and offer SUCH better sight/eye protection for me.
