Who knew there were so many hideous pairs of jeans out there? The whole “90’s is back” mindset has been making shopping impossible. (Unless you’re interested in crop tops and ill fitting jeans)
ONE pair made the cut. One! There was also one runner-up but they didn’t have the wash I liked in my size.
And I don’t care what anyone says, I LIKE SKINNY JEANS. I haven’t stopped wearing my Uggs since
High School/College even when they “went out of style” because I LIKE ‘EM.
I’m not letting Gen Z or Gen X or whoever the heck i
t is dictate what’s “in”. but I digress……….
These Citizens for Humanity jeans are so soft, have the perfect amount of stretch and I love the dark wash. They were the hands high waisted down winner! (run true to size)

I also tried Mother jeans for the first time and loved them as well.
I’ll try Mother again in the future when looking for a new pair,
but all I needed for now was a dark wash skinny jean.

No designer shoe will ever match it. I also have the higher heeled bootie but packed the lesser heel for all of the walking I knew we’d be doing.

I had eyed this shoulder tie top for a year or two, they’ve had it online for a long time and it also comes in black + white. I’m so glad I finally tried it because it’s the perfect staple. bonus points that it isn’t cropped and can be worn with midrise jeans as well as high waisted, hard to come by these days!
