I’m sure you all know (and hopefully have played because it’s hilarious) the Adult version of Apple to Apples game called Cards Against Humanity.

This week I saw they have an Adult version of Taboo called Awkward Turtle

I’m sure it’s not nearly as fun as Cards Against Humanity, but it would be a great gag gift!!

after six months, the bachelor’s chris + whitney have parted ways.

I’d say I predicted this, but oh wait, we all did and it was SUPER obvious

 and about as surprising as the 50 other bachelor break-ups. 

of course their joint statement ended with thanking those that “supported them through this journey.”

pretend its Bachelor Night and just drink for the word journey.

I’ve been waiting to bite the bullet on a new pair of brown leather wedges.

My pair I’ve had for years have seen their last days and need to see a trash can STAT.  

I was waiting for a good pair to go on sale, because instead of investing my money in the bank on shoes and bags I’ll wear a million times I stupidly blow my money on dresses I can barely wear a few times, and I found two great contenders!

and I also love this pair Jessica Simpson from Nordstrom Rack for a steal. 

I ordered the pair above to try out. 

 For under $50 I might as well, but my shoe luck has been awful this week.

I ordered a few pairs of sandals to try to find a pair for Italy and so far the ones that were delivered are all being sent back.  The cute ones I know won’t be comfortable enough to wear all day. 

There’s a slightly unattractive pair that has yet to arrive that I read great reviews on for walking all day, so with my luck, because they aren’t cute and I had to pay full price, they will probably be the winners for my Italy sandals.

I thought I was the queen of wearing my sunglasses on top of my head at all times.

I think the host of the real housewives of melbourne reunion has me beat.

indoors for hours shooting a reunion with aviators on top of your bald head.

I should probably get a coffee table first though since we’ve been in our place for over 6 months and we still have a makeshift one since our main one is in the basement TV room. whoops.

and I SWEAR this post gets more exciting than a kitchen gadget, but I am obsessed. 

this avocado tool has changed our lives.  I know I’m dramatic, but I’m serious.

my husband no longer has to be scared of me with our sharp as hell knives when I am removing the pit out of the avodaco every night and it works perfectly every time.   the little scooper-outer and cut in half aspects on the other ends of it are nice too. 

 but seriously the thing that removes the pit just by twisting it is life changing. 

One of the 97 things I forgot to mention in my Coffee Talk yesterday was how much I loved Dorinda Dorota in this weeks episode. and really in every one for that matter……

but dorota was great in Atlantic City. 

not only was she like “want to know what your birthday present was romana you selfish beyotch? I took care of your wasted cougar BFF while she blabbed on about being BFF with ‘john john’ as if he is still alive so that you could keep dancing with the nasty men that undoubtedly fill atlantic city clubs.”

I will be responding to each and everyone on Friday (and to the questions people e-mailed!!), but wanted to say thank you so, so much for already being such a huge help and upping my anticipation and excited by like a gazillion 🙂 This post is all over the place because I was too busy talking on the phone last night and watching the 10th anniversary special of Dancing With The Stars and thinking that it was BS that Erin Andews even gets to co-host the event as if she was a part of the 20 seasons like Tom Bergeron and deciding that I am going to marathon all of the seasons I haven’t watched because I just love it so damn much.  (aka I was busy being an even bigger loser than normal.) 

I wanted to do a big post of all of the things I’ve dog-eared in the dozens of magazines I’ve read lately, but when I look them up online I can’t find half of the items (I’m looking at you InStyle! this happens every issue! I can’t find any of the things that I have ripped out of the magazine! arghhh.)

so here’s just random stuff, some of which I saw in magazines, whatever who cares.

I, along with everyone I think, have been on a serious avocado kick the last few months.

This mexican grilled corn avocado toast is making me drool. 

I read about the Iris Apfel documentary, Iris, and it comes out today.

I’d love to see it (but lets be honest I’ll be waiting til I can watch it from my couch. then I’ll definitely be tuning in.)

(and I definitely stayed in on a Friday night and was like “GO ALREADY” to my husband so that I could watch in solitude during “real time”.  I don’t watch anything in real time…. I have shows planned out to the minute for when to start them so that I can fast forward commercials and still finish on time.  It’s an art that only my mother and I have mastered. It takes years of too much television to get to our expert level).
