Cheers to Friday!!
You may have noticed some tweaks and updates to the site!
I hope you like them so far – let me know your thoughts!
I’m still changing and tweaking things and it’s not done yet, so bear with me while I change some things around and ATTEMPT to learn how to do some things myself (but uhhhhh remember when I crashed my entire site and it was deleted?? yep…. that was yours truly trying to do it myself….. so…..)

Cheers to Friday!! And a St. Paddy’s Day Weekend no less!!!
So many of the things I wore on our trip to Sanibel have sold out (ah!) but I still wanted to share this jumpsuit with you all! (and the wall is maybe-kinda-sorta a shade of green, so, it fits with St. Paddy’s? eh….. whatever….)

Cheers to Friday!!!
This week flew by, which I feel like I haven’t been able to say in forever. I was so happy to have Friday come quickly!
After two weekends away (Chicago and Florida) the past two weekends, I am looking forward to a night in tonight! Tomorrow we are going to our friends Lake House for the night so we’ll likely be cozy and in sweats all day with a glass of wine in hand! It sounds heavenly.
I am in charge of lunch Saturday so Kip has requested a big batch of chili. I’ll probably make some cornbread to go with it too (are there other sides for chili? I feel like I need something else too?). And then I am going to bring some dessert and apps up with us as well!
I wanted to share an easy and UNDER $20 (score!) dress with you that I wore in Sanibel.
It’s from my favorite, Old Faithful 🙂 It is the perfect throw on and go dress and I know I will be living in it this Spring and Summer. The fabric is super, super soft too and it hits at the perfect length.
It’s still fully stocked in all sizes so snag it while you can!!
My purse is sold out, but I found an *identical* version for 1/3 of the price of mine – I am so mad that I didn’t find this one first! It’s my favorite bag for beach destinations.
// STRIPED DRESS – on sale for only $17! I’m wearing size S, runs TTS //
in stock in all sizes!Â
// IDENTICAL PURSE, for 1/3 of what mine was! (I’m jealous) // SANDALS // EARRINGS // NECKLACE //Â
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I spent a good 6 hours searching for my car keys the past two days. Feel free to skip over this story if you aren’t interested in my sheer lunacy.
I have no idea how they ended up here, or how on earth I found them, but they were in the bottom of a tissue box that still had tissues IN IT.
We have one of those keyless entry doors and I am obsessed with it. You just enter the code and you’re in – it’s amazing to not have to carry keys (clearly…. because I LOSE THEM.)
Well, the door was sticking so I couldn’t get in the front door and had to go get the secret key and then go in through the side door. Of course, by this time I was about to pee my pants – you know how your body knows you’re home and suddenly you can no longer hold it, but if you were away from a restroom you could still have gone like an hour? WHY? But I digress…. so when I got in the door I sprinted to turn off the alarm and go to the bathroom. So the next morning I’m getting ready for work and my keys are NOWHERE to be found. I searched for a good 2 hours, with help from my husband, when I got home and they were nowhere! I kept retracing my steps but didn’t know what I would have done because I came in through a door I never go through!? But I knew they had to be outside the house if I dropped them, or sitting somewhere inside the house.
After a couple MORE HOURS of searching yesterday, I was basically just touching and digging through everything in sight, even if I knew I never touched it on Tuesday. I went through the trash and both full recycling bins 2 times. Woof. I was checking the freezer, the shower, anything!!! Because clearly I had lost my mind and had no idea where they could be. I picked up a tissue box to move everything off of a table to again try to make sure I wasn’t blind and I heard something in the box. I started shaking it furiously and heard something and heart racing I ripped all of the tissues out of the box and THERE THEY WERE.
What. The. Hell.
I must have thrown them on the table running to the bathroom (I seriously have the bladder of a 3 year old, don’t ask….) and they landed on the tissue box and then fell in??? It’s the only thing that makes sense!??
I truly have NO idea how I found them. I was going to have to get the car re-keyed today if I hadn’t found it yet! HALLELUJAH!!!! My prayers to St. Anthony and all of my powers of positive thinking paid off!
Oh….. and if you’re thinking “just use your spare” ….. yeahhhhh I haven’t seen that since we moved from Chicago….. so don’t ask!!! In my defense I packed up our entire three story condo by myself and not a single other thing was lost…. so….. whatever…..
K….. enough of my stupidity…….if you read that whole story, I apologize……

I’m going to do a post soon of my beauty favorite – which is kind of a joke because I am FARRRR from a “beauty” person, but I am great at taking my makeup off and doing a full PM routine everyday 6 days a week at least 5 days a week, SO that’s pretty good right??? But I have found a few products that I love so I’ll share!
My favorite nighttime serum after washing and using toner is this Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM. I found it for the best price on QVC (you get twice the size for 60% less than if you bought the 1 oz size!)
but they also have it on Nordstrom and a ton of other places for the 1 oz size.
It feels so great on your skin and I smear it all over my neck and chest too. Plus I feel like it’s a good price for product and how long it lasts.

Cheers to Friday!
For some reason this week felt like an eternity!? I think because we had the mid-week date night on Wednesday for Valentine’s Day, it felt like Wednesday was Friday, which is always the worst.
We normally stay in for Valentine’s Day and do dinner another night, but this year we walked up the street to sit at the bar for some pizza and wine. No complaints!
I wanted to share a tiny little house update!
When our back porch got built, a few boards were cut too short on the back, so Kip had an idea to put something in it’s place (I realize this sentence makes no sense, but I have no idea why there was this missing piece in the wood that I had never noticed before?)
Anyways, he surprised me by painting an R on the missing piece and nailing it in.
I love it! As always, anything I can monogram I am always on board for, so an initial on the porch is perfect to me!
I also got an exciting piece for the porch in the mail from a friend this week,
so I am excited to share that pretty detail soon.
Some Celeb Gossip that broke after this week’s Coffee Talk already went live:

:: Joggers + Friday Randoms + Link Love ::
Cheers to Friday!!!
Today’s “lewk” is a step outside of my comfort zone and into the extreme comfort of these ruched ankle pants. I feel like I could call them joggers, but then I just hear the boston accent saying “jah-gah’s” and I’m like “eemmm that may be too far out of my comfort zone.” But yes, they’re like a jogger.
And they feel LIKE BUTTAH.
I first wore these to and from the beach for Christmas with a simple V-neck tee and I fell into a deep deep love. They are SO cozy and work just as well with sandals and a tee as they do with heels.
I decided to try them out in a dressier outfit with heels but kept it simple with a tank and jean jacket. I’m excited to see how else I can style these in the coming months! I feel like a denim jacket is a staple you have to have. I have had this dark wash shrunken jacket for 10 years, but I also have a distressed lighter washed denim for a more casual look. There are so many great options right now that I keep seeing so I’ll link some below!
// RUCHED ANKLE PANTS Â aka Jah-Gah’s //Â Â size down one – run large!
// SIMILAR DENIM JACKET // CORK + SUEDE HEELS under $30 // PINK MONOGRAMMED CLUTCH on sale //
similar denim jackets all under $100
(and this one has a ton of 5 star reviews, as well as one from me!)
