hope you all had a wonderful weekend

one of our last summer weekends 🙁

I ended up going to the doctor Friday night because I was really struggling

I felt so badly that I was having dramatic rachel zoe thoughts running through my head

and turns out…….

I have acute bronchitis!

woop woop.

so it was a thrilliiinnnnggggg weekend up in here.

they gave me some drugs though, one them being a z-pak which I swear should be given the title of the greatest thing to ever happen to planet earth. I’m on day 3 and feel 10x better than I did last week.

so, this weekend I’ve been all like

i’d cuddle all night with my z-pak if I could.

I made good use of my time alone at home this weekend.

I watched the entire season of Hotwives of Orlando on Hulu Plus (a scripted parody of all the RH series)
and laughed my ass off.

It’s incredible. It’s so over the top, but exactly like how you feel while watching the actual housewives insane antics.

Just watch the first episode alone and you’ll be hooked.

when we registered for our wedding china (monogrammed of course) at the store fragile gifts in atlanta, I saw these monogrammed vases and flipped. so I registered for three, one in every size 🙂

a few weeks later, they disappeared. whoever their manufacturer is (possibly this same etsy shop but I hope not) was never completing them on time for clients so they stopped carrying them.

now I have found them, and I will be ordering one immediately. I just love them so so much.

I made it home alive after another incredible bachelorette weekend, this one in NYC for one of my best friends from college.

I love New York so, so much….. yet don’t think I could ever LIVE there.

But I could DEFINITELY visit at least three weekends a month 🙂

side note :: the instagram account @fuckjerry is the funniest thing I have ever experienced in my life. we sat on the balcony laughing our asses off while some of the girls napped. clearly i don’t nap…. I drink copious amounts of wine on balconies and laugh obnoxiously with the other lush pain the ass.

After brunch next to Kelly Ripa on Saturday (oh yeah.)

I got to go to C. Wonder and it was HEAVEN.

the store is perfection.

the dressing room even has a panel for you to change the lighting and the music

their buy one get one free home sale is still going on.

I got this black fit and flare skirt to wear with my top saturday night.

it will go with everything, and it has the perfect amount of stretch. for sizing, go with your smaller size, the stretch is really nice.

when my husband picked me up at the airport, he had flowers and taco bell 🙂

I love Haymarket Designs for all things monogrammed,

I have their plates and platter and they are so cute.

These bridal party koozies take it to a whole new level.

There have been lots and lots of thank you notes going on over here the last few weeks. When I was waiting for our monogrammed stationary to arrive, I bought this Kate Spade stationary to use and I love it.

It’s on really nice thick card stock too and the liner is adorable.

bachelor in paradise starts tonight…… soooooo get excited.

ps I forgot to mention on Thursday’s Coffee Talk how ridiculous and awkward and creepy the ultrasound of Ashley and JP’s baby was???

I mean….. what???!!!!

monogram monday :: wedding edition

Today, I’m sharing some of the many monograms from our wedding.

Trust me when I say there are many more to come 🙂

I had monogrammed ribbons made for my bouquet and also for all of the bridesmaids bouquets

we used the cups that we were made from my bridal shower throughout the day for our mimosas + champagne.

as always…. not letting a single drop be wasted 🙂

my shirt had the wedding date + I do on the cuff, and the girls had their monogrammed shirts as a bridesmaid gift

we had a custom monogram made, and used it on stickers from our welcome basket, koozies, and my mom surprised me with the gorgeous monogrammed ice sculpture on the shrimp bar!

I’ve posted this image before,

but I found this probably over a year ago and have been obsessed with it ever since.

I knew H was the perfect initial since it is perfectly symmetrical,

but I wanted to try to recreate it as much as possible with an R.

I roamed around on etsy, and found Graphic Design by Tara.

I sent over the image and almost immediately she had samples sent back to me.

She did such a great job, especially since R isn’t as symmetrical or easy of a letter to replicate as the H.

We’ll be using this for a few things, like some of the welcome bag items and our wedding koozies.

there are few things I love more in life than a koozie.

‘cuz like my mother says, nothing classes up a wedding like beer + koozies.

I jest.

she clearly was not the one who couldn’t waiiiiiit to have a koozie.

Two weeks from today we’ll be home in Atlanta soaking up the final days before the wedding. It can’t come soon enough!

it’s official.

there are people that are crazier about monograms than me…..

but now that it has…….. I kinda want ’em.

I’ve been on the hunt for personalized hostess gifts,

and everything I love is backordered by about 2 months.

mark and graham and I are in a serious fight.

I saw this on Pinterest and think it’s about the cutest thing I ever did see.

wouldn’t work for any of the people I need to find a hostess gift for,
but I know so many people who would love this.

am I the only person who watches House of Cards and has literally no idea what is going on for about 80% of the show?

I’m almost done with season 2, and I’ve probably only comprehended one episode from start to finish. Yet still somehow at the end of each episode I am so excited for the next.
I probably ask Kip a dozen times “wait, what just happened?”
